how to turn this off and show all of the menu items
Microsoft Word is an incredibly powerful program, but getting at that power may not be as easy or intuitive as you might like.
Microsoft Word XP normally hides menu options that it thinks you won't need frequently. Here's how to turn this off and show all of the menu items.
It's simple to make this change.
1. From Microsoft Word XP, choose "Tools", then "Customize".
2. When the "Customize" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, choose "Options".
3. Check "Always show full menus".
4. Press "Close".
